Your swimming pool will keep looking and smelling inviting and, really critically, the growth of bacteria and algae will stay at a low level, this will ensure that neither you nor your pool suffer.
The initial step is to ensure that the pool has the right mix of chemicals when you fill. A pool chemicals starter kit might be the best thing to use here to ensure you get it right from the beginning, and there are a wide variety available on the market just like the ones we manufacture and distribute from our pool, spa chemicals store.

{In order to get the best from your swimming pool spa or hot tub it is important that you test the water on a timetabled basis and you make sure you keep it in a healthy state. This can be achieved simply by the regular use of pool treatment chemicals. The testing of the water may initially seem initimidating, however test kit instructions are easy to follow and can be relied on to give fast reliable results. }
The standard tests are
1. pH
2. Alkalinity
3. Sanitiser (Free Chlorine or Bromine)
Other Tests

2. Combined chlorine
3. Copper levels
Manual [InspectionInvestigation]
1. Check the water for clarity, and ensure it is clear.
To assist you , you can regularly record your results and the chemical additions that you make.
Remember to retest the water after the addition of chemicals to ensure you have created the appropriate chemical levels.
Don't Forget
* If the water is foggy then it is not safe to swim, people cannot see the bottom and might dive into shallow water!
* Swimmers in difficulty under the surface of thewater will not be seen!
* Cloudy water is an indication that there is a problem with the treatment.
Using Sanitisers
Sanitation is the priority reason for using pool chemicals. Left not treated, a swimming pool can become a breeding ground for bacteria and algae. The algae will affect the pool but the bacteria will damage you!
The answer is a sanitiser such as Bromine or Chlorine. Make sure that the level is maintained all the time and levels should be checked and supplemented weekly or if needed. Don't Forget, if you need to decrease the levels, just add more water in your pool to dilute the chlorine. There are different choices for delivering the Chlorine to your pool. Try using slow dissolving tablets in conjunction with a chlorinator or, alternatively, a floater. You will need to be careful that the floater stays in your pool though!
Sanitation By Products
Twice monthly you will also need to dose your swimming pool with extra pool products to deal with the waste materials created by the Chlorine, i.e. the sterilised bacteria and algae. Most will, of course, have been removed by your filtration system but some will remain and decompose leading to unpleasant smells and skin and eye irritation. You should soon tell when this is appropriate because the water will appear , you can use clarifiers and flocculents to sort this out.
When managing your pool, watch your ph levels. This measures the acidity in your pool. The balance needs to be kept stable to enable the Chlorine to work efficiently. After that, an efficient pool filtering system will help you to keep your water clean and sanitary. And that is the key to an enjoyable swim every time!
By checking online for Swimming Pool Chemicals and Chlorine Granules or other Pool Accessories you can find great deals at manufacturer prices.
