Great Travel Ideas For Seeing The Hawaiian Islands
It may be time for a trip to paradise. All that is needed are reservations and they can be had by checking with a travel agent or checking online and finding the best deals available. There are many deals and it is almost certain you will find many great deals that meet with your satisfaction. You have chosen the Hawaiian Islands, after much searching. These islands are beautiful and they have much history. They are considered very safe for the traveler.
You will probably be staying in a hotel on Waikiki Beach this seems to be the place for all tourist. The beach is wonderful and the sand is soft, people do surf in these waters because they are very gentle and a very good place to learn how to ride a surfboard. They also have canoe rentals and just about any other water sport rental you may be tempted to try, including para-sailing which is very popular.
The bookings are in order and all reservations have been confirmed. All luggage is packed and ready for the plane and the travelers are excited and heading for the airport to board the flight to the islands. Once you have arrived you will be hit with the tropical trade winds and will then know that you are in paradise.
It is easy to get to your hotel on the beach and once you have checked in, you will be able to change and hit the sand. The beach area is wonderful and usually there is a lot of space for everyone. You should be able to see Diamond Head from the beach and any water sports you would like to try should be available right in your little beach area.
Perhaps you have had you fill of shopping and eating around the Beach area and you want to get out and about and see some of the sights that you have always read about and seen of television. It is suggested that you might try a trip to Diamond Head crater this is a short trip from your hotel and well worth the visit. The stay doesn't need to be long but it can be extended if you decide to walk out to the tip of the Diamond Head crater and take a look at the hotel area on the beach, it is well worth the climb and by the way the climb should be rated as not to difficult.
On your way to your hotel you may want to stop off at the Honolulu Zoo and have a look around if time permits. There is also a Hawaiian Hula show located close to the Zoo and it is presented by the Kodak film company. If you still have time on your hands and the day still has many hours left remember that there is also an Aquarium very close to all these activities you have just visited.
Tomorrow you may want to take a tour or just catch a bus to Pearl City and visit the shopping center there, and have a meal at one of the nice restaurants located in the mall. From there it is just a short ride to Pearl Harbor where you will be able to view some of the damage caused by the bombings that took place during the second world war. There are many ships you can visit and some you will even be able to board to have a look around.
The day is coming to an end but after you leave Pearl Harbor you should stop at what is call The Punchbowl and pay your respects to the many world war two veterans that are buried there. Now it seems nice to get back to the hotel area and ready to get into that swim suit and lay on the beach for awhile before dinner and a little nightlife after you will turn and get read to travel to other parts of the Island tomorrow.
