Hybrid And Electric Car Sales Will Not Be Great According To Study
Hybrid and electric cars are a minority among car sales. A new study by J.D. Power and Associates purports that sales will stay slow for at least a decade. The sales for hybrid and electric cars at the moment are a small portion of the market, which is where the record begins. The report estimates that by the year 2020, just more than 7 percent of car sales will be either electric or hybrid cars.
A few more electric cars sold every single day
J.D. Power and Associates did a report on the next decade of electric car sales. Consumers getting a reason to do it
CNN reports that there are things that need to happen before electric cars and hybrid cars will start being sold. Worldwide fuel prices would have to rise. There are also concerns that electric cars lack sufficient range to replace gasoline engines. The report also highlights the increased cost of, for instance, a Toyota Prius over a Toyota Corolla is a fantastic concern. Charging time and also the lack of an extensive track record are also negatives in car buyers' minds.
There is a relationship between size and cost
