5 Basic Steps in Building a Deck for a Simple House Deck Structure

Pick the desk design
Determine what you want your deck to look like. Pick the kind of shaping patterns of your deck that fits well on your house’s architecture. You could always customize any deck design or go for the standard 45-degree pattern of deck flooring.
Choose the materials
Once you have decided on the design that you want, list the materials that is needed in building the design. Pressure-treated lumber, redwood, cedar, and other types of hard wood are the most common wood to use in building a deck. Other designer’s wood may be use in the visible area of the deck structure. Always make sure that the materials used can stand the extreme outdoor conditions such as decay and extreme weather. Prepare the layout

Build the structure
