Photography Critique? Photos Included?

I want to get several opinions of my work. I am thinking of selling either my services or prints, and I would like the general publics opinion on some of my best pieces. I have included a photo from a portrait series that I shot as an example of the kind of portraits I would be selling. Please let me know what you think.

The "blurry" flowers are a technique, it is an intentional blur, and they are exactly how I intended to shoot them.

I viewed your gallery, not just these selected photos. I would argue that these are not necessarily the best examples of your work, but that is subjective. Overall, I think your work is outstanding.

Technically, your work is flawless and artistically and aesthetically inspiring. I completely disagree with some of the other answers that criticize your choice of depth-of-field, focus and composition.

However, the way you have framed and titled some of them remind me of those motivational/inspirational posters I got tired of looking at and are found in corporate offices across the country (I bet the presumedly now-wealthy photographer of those posters could care less how I feel about them, lol).

Portrait photography may be able to support and sustain you while you exhibit and sell your more personal work.

You definitely have the eye, talent and skill as a photographer and graphic artist. Marketing yourself and your work is a whole different animal.

Good Luck, I hope you are very successful.
